OUT OF TOWN SHOWS THIS WEEK!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! Should have special gift for you in a little bit.  Meanwhile, a bit of show info…

The good people from Girls & Boys NYC are now throwing parties in Charlotte and Miami and they have invited me down to perform at the launches…

I will be at Butter in Charlotte, NC this Wednesday, Feb 16.  Very excited, this will be my first show outside of NYC!

Then I will be in Miami on Friday night at EVE.  Happy to be headed back to the embrace of Miami’s warm loving arms… It’s been too long.

Just wanted to share a few quick little bits with you…

First up, announcing a couple of last minute shows coming up next week… Girls & Boys (the wonderful Friday night party here in NYC) is headed down south, with new monthlies starting up in Charlotte and Miami, and they’ve asked me and Dances With White Girls to come and christen the events.  So I will be performing live sets on Wednesday night in Charlotte, NC (@ Butter Charlotte) and Friday night in Miami (@ EVE).  Come out, I think it’s free with RSVP, you can check the events out here…

In other news, Annie Mac played “Is That Your Girl?” on the Annie Mac Mashup last night (Friday) on BBC Radio 1.  You can listen here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wqdc

She had this to say about the track: “Punk Techno… So the singer is Mattie Safer used to be the bass player and singer of The Rapture and it’s produced by him as well [ED NOTE:Dances With White Girls co wrote and co-produced and the track features Telli from Ninjasonik]… Definitely a standout track for me ”

Thanks Ms. Mac!  Super “chuffed” about that one.  Or as Dances put it, “cross another thing off my list.”

I am very happy to to announce my first non-holiday solo release today! 

My track “Is That Your Girl” is going to be featured on BUSY P and DJ MEHDI’s “Let The Children Techno” compilation on Ed Banger Records.

The compilation will be released digitally on February 14th and physically (CD) February 21st.   The trackslisting also includes new music by SIRIUSMO, BRODINSKI & TONY SENGHORE, SKREAM, FLYING LOTUS, GESAFFELSTEIN, PARA ONE & TACTEEL, ZOMBIE NATION, L-VIS 1990, DUKE DUMONT, DJEDJOTRONIC, DISCODEINE,BOBMO, RITON, Mr OIZO, BUSY P, DJ MEHDI, SEBASTIAN, BREAKBOT, FEADZ and CASSIUS!
